Contract Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer needed for 10 month project, in Middleton TN. Opportunity for continued full time employment upon successful completion.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 3-5 years experience in an manufacturing engineering role. The successful candidate must possess the ability to analyze current shop floor workflow, perform time studies, develop and maintain SOP's and Standard Work. Will use knowledge of equipment and process to implement LEAN principles, Supports SQDC, and participate in Rapid Improvement Events. Must be willing to train and mentor company employees.
Works with procurement to order tooling and fixtures, conduct make/buy analysis, and prepare cost estimates for accounting.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Must be able to work in office and shop/manufacturing environments, and possess proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of AutoCad and SolidWorks is a plus.
All candidates must be willing to submit to a criminal background investigation and drug screen.
$ Pay will be commensurate with experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
